Perth Hypnosis | Anxiety

Feelings of stress and anxiety are our body’s (and mind’s) natural response to ‘threats’ – such as the unknown. For example, we may be feeling stressed before a job interview as we do not know how we perform. While a bit of anxiety can be good – for example, in the case above, anxiety can be used to ensure you prepare for the interview itself – prolonged anxiety can lead to a range of health issues. It can also be incredibly hard to deal with, resulting in decreasing mental health and isolation from friends, peers, and loved ones.

Studies suggest that ¼ of Australians will deal with a diagnosable anxiety condition in their lifetime. During this time, they will report feeling stressed, anxious, and overwhelmed on a daily basis as opposed to it simply being a passing struggle. Figures have risen dramatically in recent years due to the stress associated with the COVID-19 pandemic, social isolation, and other events beyond our control, such as the flooding on the east coast and previous wildfires.

However, it’s essential to understand that there are plenty of steps that you can take to better manage your anxiety and stress, ensuring that they do not stand in the way of living the kind of life you’ve always wanted to live. Being able to manage your anxiety will help you clear your mind and ensure that you do not withdraw from your social activities or even your work and career goals.

Thankfully, there is plenty of support out there – whether you reach out to a friend or look into anxiety and stress therapy services designed to support you through turmoil and difficult times. One of the most effective ways in which you can begin to manage your anxiety is through hypnotherapy or guided hypnosis.

What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy services have been used for centuries to help clients through a range of mental health problems, including anxiety. During a hypnotherapy session, you will be guided into hypnosis – as when we are in a hypnotic state, our focus and concentration levels increase as our anxiety decreases. During this time, your hypnotherapist will be able to suggest ways to eradicate or ease your symptoms, talking you through them at a time when your mind is naturally more receptive and able to make changes

At Perth Hypnotherapy Solutions, Beverley has had vast experience providing clients with the help and support they need to make it through tough times.
